from Sale of Sugar on Local Market) Regulations 2012
Registration for 2025
- Every importer who imports any sugar, other than sugar for refining, into Mauritius, a miller or a refiner producing sugar, other than sugar for refining, shall make an application, by using the prescribed Application for Registration Form available at the MCIA and also on its website ‘’mcia.mu’’, to be registered as a registered entity to sell sugar on the local market.
- Any registration effected under paragraph 1 shall be valid for a period of one year.
- Registration for the calendar year 2025 shall be completed at latest on 15 December 2024 and shall be valid during the period1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
- Registration for subsequent years shall be completed at latest on 15 December of the preceding year.
