- The Mauritius Cane Industry Authority is hereby inviting tenders from potential dealers for the sale of Scrap Metals, Vehicles, Spare Parts & Other items on an “as is and where is” basis.
- The items can be viewed from Wednesday 11th to Friday 27th September 2024, at the following sites: (i) The Agricultural Mechanisation Unit (ex-SPMPC), Plaine Lauzun (09hrs-14hrs), (ii) the Mauritius Sugarcane Industry Research Institute/Control & Arbitration Department, Moka Road, Réduit (10hrs-15hrs), (iii) Bagged Sugar Storage & Distribution and the Sugar Storage & Handling Unit, Les Salines, Caudan (09hrs-14hrs).
- The bid submission form and sale by tender documents with all details regarding the above specified items may be obtained at the reception desk of the above-mentioned sites during working hours (Monday to Friday) or downloaded from the MCIA website at the following link: Download Tender Document for Sale by Tender
- Tenders, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked ‘Sale by tender-MCIA/SBT/01/24-25’ on the top left-hand corner must be deposited, not later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 27th September 2024, in the Tender Box located at the Mauritius Cane Industry Authority, Réduit, addressed to:

- Bids received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
- The Mauritius Cane Industry Authority does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender, nor will it assign any reason for the rejection of a tender.
